The rumors are true. In mid-March, word arrived by way of a publication called FCW that Amazon, the king of cloud computing, had inked a contract with the Central Intelligence Agency to provide $600 million in cloud services over the next decade, and last week, Amazon openly confirmed the deal -- if not the price tag -- after rival IBM filed a formal protest over the pact. <div class='mf-viral'><table border='0'><tr><td valign='middle'>     </td></tr></table></div><br/><br/>
