Doctors use CT scans to figure out what's happening inside your body. And sometimes that's after a crash. But what if that same technology could be used to make the car safer to begin with? That's exactly what researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits have developed with an XXL CT scanner that can fit everything from cars to shipping containers.
