I just would like to say thanks to HoTWiReZ for steering me back to the right path of doing things correctly when it comes to hardware installation. As most all of you know I have a water-cooled system, which recently it has been anything but cool. After speaking with all of you, I noticed my cpu temp was running over 10-15 degrees higher than everyone else with air-cooled devices. I tried a lot of things from repriming the whole works and I even almost bought a higher gal/min pump which would of required a lot of reworking. HoTWiReZ recommended I use a thermal compound between my copper heat block and cpu to help decrease the thermal resistance. I recently acquired some thermal compound from a local hardware store and a little dab will do ya. I applied the compound, and after getting my system back up and running I noticed an immediate difference of over 30 degrees from the usual temps I have seen at idle loads. HoT, you're the man...
