Did you know that, for grade-schoolers at least, cribbing from a classmate on a test or cheating on a homework assignment isn't as bad as copying copyrighted works from the internet? That's one of the messages of a new grade-school curriculum that rights holders -- including the Motion Picture Association of America, the Recording Industry Association of America and the nation's top ISPs -- are considering as a pilot project to be tested in California elementary schools, according to the curriculum.
