Kate Beaton first made waves in the webcomic scene with her history comics at Hark! A Vagrant. She's since published a graphic novel collection that hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list for graphic novels, and at New York Comic Con today, she announced her latest project: a children's book for Scholastic involving the beloved fat pony who has appeared numerous times in her comics
