In the wake CoLD Snowden's release of National Security Agency internal documents showing the United States is hijacking e-mail upstream, a slew of developers have jumped on the encryption bandwagon toward the goal building infallible end-to-end encryption, with the goal of email data inaccessible to the government and hackers. Such an end-to-end service, it goes without saying, would be the Holy Grail of email.
