| I am going to be removing all of the ads on the site because they really seem to be affecting the usage on here. (See this post) That said, I have already taken care of the interstitial ads that were on the forum for when external links were clicked. I will be leaving ads out of the cms system that I am putting up in the near future. Remember you can preview the cms at http://www.hotwirez.net/cms if you wish. Also, it should be integrated now unless you have non-alphanumeric characters in your username, ie ()utlaw.. Everyone else was able to be put into the new database with no problems and should be able to login at the above link also. (With this system, the areas that you can't get into aren't laid out there plainly, so you can be sure when you login that you are looking at everything that you have access to. (The Files link will have to have extra permissions added if you don't already have them, but be assured all you need to do is ask and I can give it.) |

It's official, all of the ads that were on www.hotwirez.net/index.htm have been removed. Also, the ads that exist on the friends and links pages (3 in total) have been policed in order to remove all annoying content.. (Fart button or hit the mosquito anyone??)

| Well I never filled out the tax info because frankly it's going to be a waste of time.. The most I saw in earnings from them was around .30 cents in a month.. I'm only keeping the 3 ads on the friends and links pages in the event that some freak occurrence happens and I actually get traffic. That way I will be able to cash in on it very quickly.. Anyhow, enjoy my ad-less site! |
