Rishi Satpathy was faced with an age-old high school problem. "I was in a class that none of my friends were in," he says, "and I didn't like the teacher." At most high schools, changing your schedule means conferring with friends, comparing schedules, and making multiple trips to the guidance counselor to swap classes around like ill-fitting Tetris blocks. But students at the Illinois Math and Science Academy, or IMSA, where Satpathy is now a senior, turn to a site called WikiRoster to compare their schedules.
